Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and Mentry. We have kept them as short and clear as we can. By creating an account or using Mentry, you accept them.
1. Who we are
Mentry is provided by Salman Amrabou, tax ID 41688873Q, Carrer Lisboa, 17480 Roses (Girona), Spain (“Mentry”, “we”, “us”). Contact: rehechoyt@gmail.com.
2. What Mentry is
Mentry is a self-knowledge and growth tool. It helps you understand how you tend to think, spot recurring thinking patterns and work towards a goal you choose with a weekly plan, check-ins, training exercises, a journal and an AI coach.
3. What Mentry is not
Mentry is a self-knowledge and growth tool based on cognitive psychology and AI. It is not a medical device or therapy service and does not replace professional mental health support.
- Mentry does not diagnose any condition and does not provide clinical or medical advice.
- It does not recommend, replace or modify any treatment or medication.
- Thinking styles and patterns are tools for reflection, not psychological assessments or clinical labels.
- If you are struggling, please talk to a qualified professional. In Spain you can call 024 (suicide prevention line, free, 24 hours) or 112 in an emergency.
4. Who can use Mentry
You must be at least 16 years old to use Mentry. By creating an account you confirm that you are. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account.
5. Your content
What you write in Mentry — sessions, journal entries, check-ins and messages — remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy policy. You can delete it, and your account, at any time.
6. AI-generated content
Insights, detected patterns, plans and Coach replies are generated with the help of AI from what you share. They may be incomplete or wrong. Use your own judgement: you decide whether a pattern fits you and what to act on. Nothing Mentry generates is professional advice of any kind. AI-generated content is always labelled as such, and the Coach is an AI, not a person.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Mentry for anything unlawful or to harm others;
- try to access other users’ data or break the security of the service;
- overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or bypass usage limits;
- use Mentry to generate content about other people without their consent.
8. Plans and pricing
Mentry has a free plan that costs nothing and needs no card. It includes daily usage limits (for example, 10 Coach messages per day) that keep the service sustainable. Premium features are not yet available; if and when we launch paid plans, we will show the price and terms clearly before you pay anything, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Mentry available and secure, but we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, especially during the beta. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
10. Intellectual property
The Mentry name, logo, design, software and content created by us belong to us or our licensors. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these terms.
11. Liability
We are liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and in all cases where the law does not allow liability to be limited. Otherwise, given that Mentry is a free self-reflection tool, we are not liable for decisions you make based on its content. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Spanish and EU law, including the Spanish General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).
12. Ending your account
You can stop using Mentry and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, telling you why unless the law prevents it.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will notify you in the app or by email at least 15 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then.
14. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you can bring any claim before the courts of your place of residence. You can also turn to the Spanish consumer arbitration system (Sistema Arbitral de Consumo) or the consumer office of your region.
